Inspection Process
How does the inspection process work?
- Simply fill out our Report Request from here.
- You will be called to have your inspections request confirmed.
- Your authority allows us to contact the relevant agent/vendor to arrange access to the property.
- On the day of inspection, our inspectors will attend the property, complete
a thorough visual inspection which includes roof spaces* (where accessible),
sub-floor* (where accessible), all internal and external walls, ceilings,
floors, wet areas.
- If required, our inspectors will call you on the day of inspection to provide a brief verbal overview of their findings, the report is then compiled, formatted and finalised.
- Reports will be emailed to you, your conveyancer or solicitor as soon as they are available. If you don't have email we will post a copy.
- You will generally have all your reports within 2 working days from the date of inspection.
- Once you have your report, we encourage you to call our office at any time with any questions or explanations you may require with regards to the content of the report.
* Internal Roof inspection and sub-floor inspection held only when allowable access (as per AS4349.1)
is available.
* Prices indicated are for standard house with a maximum of 4 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms only. Larger
premises will be charged at a higher rate. Please feel free to contact our office for a quotation.
